Ancient Wonders and Modern Craft
RONN McFARLANE is a true pioneer, a lutenist/composer with dozens of albums and decades of work with seminal figures in historical performance including the Baltimore Consort.
His duo with ANDREW McEVOY performs new original works in addition to its forays into ancient music. Their 2025 Mid-Atlantic tour featured a sold-out finale at Tudorcon, held in a rebuilt 16th century English manor (pictured above). The tour raised a five-figure sum for charitable causes.
The Road Ahead
Andrew aspires to make a loaf of sourdough bread to bring to rehearsal that is of comparable quality to a latte made by Ronn.
